China First Warcraft 3 Network Live Broadcast

Everyone who played starcraft or concerned about Electronic Competition would know Electronic Competition  in starcraft have great development. Korean government have confirm its legal position and contribution to national economics. yellow, nada and oov had become  star in Korea. but war3 and war3 player has less Influence.

China had develop starcraft before, but there is still great distance between Chinese and Korean player. as Sky(a famous Chinese war3 player) continually won two championship in WCG which represent highest award in Electronic Competition. China decided to make  breakthrough in war3 even in Electronic competition so that Chinese government would confirm its legal position.

Nowadays China hold a China-Korea war3 star competition to expand Electronic Competition influence in china. the most significant feature of this competition is live Network Broadcast by a software called ppstream, so many gamer could see it through Internet. I think this is a good try to develop China Electronic Competition. The emcee of live broadcast give me such feeling as young and humor. It's the style I like. But I found that emcee give so strong Chinese bias although they are Chinese, So do I. it makes me a little displeasure because I think they should take neutrality in their position. If you are just a audience you can express your whole feeling but you are not. However I still like this game although I love starcraft more than war3 and hope it can expand Electronic Competition influence in china.

About PI-API Error -10401

Today I wanted to insert data to PI by using a .net class which boxed PI-API I created it before. I used function pisn_putsnapshotx, but it doesn't work with error code -10401.

In PI_API Documents, there is no comment about this error code. so I had to found the reason by myself. I used default point "sinusoid" as test point and try to insert data into it. it works Fine. Then I compare tag property of "sinusoid" and my problem tag, I notice defference on DataAccess.

sinusoid: o:rw g:rw w:rw Problem tag: o:rw g:r w:r

OK, I guess this is the reason, I chaged Problem tag's property to o:rw g:rw w:rw, then I use pisn_putsnapshotx function to insert data, works well.

So error code -10401 is a access level problem.

there is two way to solve it now.

1. As said above, change property to o:rw g:rw w:rw.

2. Add login information in your code by using pilg_login or piut_login

PS: I can't use pilg_login because no entry point in piapi32.dll when I P/Invoke it. I do not know why. But I found piut_login is always OK.

远程桌面连接windows 2000

知道windows远程桌面是从XP开始的，一直觉得这个是个好东西，使用起来很方便，最近需要远程桌面连接windows 2000的机子，才知道2000也可以使用远程连接，但是设置要稍微麻烦一点。

首先Windows 2000的各个版本对远程桌面的支持不一样的，Pro版只能连接另外的计算机而不能被其他计算机连接，Server版本以上的就双向都可以了,还好我这台是Server版的.

欲远程桌面连接到2000(下面都是指Server以上的版本).
首先要在添加删除程序里面添加Windows组件


然后再控制面板--〉管理工具--〉服务中启动下列服务


把启动类型改成自动，然后点击启动按钮就好了

如果这样改了以后还不能被连接上，那么可能还需要去注册表里面修改一下，开启被连接选项，这个在XP和2003里面可以通过右击我的电脑--〉远程改，但是在2000里面这样不行，google了一下，可以通过直接改注册表实现这个功能。在注册表HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-->SYSTEM-->CURRENTCONTROLSET-->CONTROL-- >TERMINAL SERVICE中修改(如果不存在就添加)fDenyTSConnections的值为0

在windows 2003中使用PI Activeview

今天在搞把PDI文件用PI Activeview嵌到网页里面去，搞了半天都不行，使用同样的方法在其他的电脑上面都是OK的，而且我的电脑浏览其他主机上面嵌有PDI的网页也不能显示。分析原因，其他的电脑都是XP或者2000的系统，只有我的是2003，难道是操作系统的原因，搜索了一下，果然在OSISOFT的支持网站上面有这样一片文章Using PI ActiveView and Windows Server 2003 Copy一下解决方法粘在这里，很简单就不翻译了

1. In IIS Manager, right-click on the level of hierarchy for which to change the setting and select "Properties." 2. Go to the tab "HTTP Headers" and click the "MIME Types..." button.

3. Select New and enter the following information for Extension: .PDI for MIME type: application/octet-stream

4. You should now see the .PDI under the Registered MIME Types list.

5. Click OK.

6. Stop and restart your IIS service for the changes to take effect.

Gene6FTP的乱码问题

重装系统以后，用windows 2000 En + gene6 FTP server建立了一个FTP服务器 但是发现用FlashFXP访问的时候出现中文显示的乱码问题，如图 而原来使用同样的系统和gene却没有问题。使用fileZilla的UTF8访问也是好的。 但是FlashFXP不支持UTF8，不可能让大家都使用fileZilla吧。 把FTP服务器换成fileZilla Server存在同样问题。 再换成Serv-U.OK 也更改过2000的区域设置，都改成了Chinese（PRC），也都不能解决这个问题 有待将来研究。
